5th World Youth Congress Istanbul, Turkiye

This is my new blog, I made it for the special purposes, it is for informations about YOUTHS. Ya, you can find youth programs here, international youth conference, international youth congress, international youth forum, etc. It is really exciting for us, isnt it?

Okay, Lets start it...! I start from "5th World Youth Congress 2010".

5th World Youth Congress is a youth congress, with 1000 participants from all over the world, will be held on 31 July - 13 August 2010, in Istanbul, Turkiye. Deadline of Application was in March 2010. Info : http://www.turkiye2010.org

I firstly found this congress on 2009. Once I saw it, I applied it as soon as I could. It is required our data informations, and of course essays. The committee required 5 essays in selection process. After submitted my application, I was waiting and waiting. In January 2010, the committee announced 50 accepted participants whose the best applications, and I am the one of the best 50 applicants. I was so happy and proud. It was an unforgettable moment in my life.

In April 2010, I heard that the committee announced the conclusion of all applicants except from Turkiye, as the Turkish Delegates deadline of application was 31 May. I had my fellas from my campus were selected too. They are Rahmi Ariani, Dede Supriatna Makbul, and Anggara Hidayat. We made plans, we made fundraisings, as the committee only cover the accommodation during the congress and all participants have to pay for their travel costs.

Now, on 7th June, we had booked our flights to Istanbul from Jakarta, return tickets, in USD 900 with Singapore Airlines. We have to pay th tickets on 9th June 2010. So we have to pay in two days. After the payment date, the thing we have to do is just waiting.

Oh ya guys, We, Indonesian Delegates for this congress, are going to make a workshop concerning introduce Indonesian Cultures to the other participants. We will introduce them TARI SAMAN from Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, one of provinces in Indonesia.
